Computer Engineer Freelance Projects
After my first few computer builds I noticed a common demand for either an upgraded computer or introductory computer for a family's graduation or upcoming college. Advertising my abilities to most everyone I know, I began to build multiple computers each month starting in mid 2020 quoting for each build, and saving everyone hundreds of dollars over buying pre-made computers from large retailers. After a year of around 60 jobs, by 2021 I had my first networking project request for a friend of a friend. I installed a Network Access Storage (NAS) for his family to enjoy a media server that can host entertainment and family memory content. By the end of 2022 I had installed 5 whole home networking solutions and built/upgraded ≈160 computers for various professions. Everything from gamers and streamers to artists and audiophiles.
Alvin Dunn Elementary Art Displays Eagle Project
I drafted, fund-raised, and spearheaded the construction of new art display boards for Alvin Dunn Elementary School due to the lack of art equipment at the school. I instructed a group of volunteers through the construction and completion of 6 ft. tall fold-able cork boards on wheels. In total, I raised $1,376.66 and spent 120 hours on the project. When all was said & done, $343.26 was donated directly to Alvin Dunn Elementary as I managed under budget.
Sapele Mahogany Desk Woodworking Project
Some things are really annoying when you are 6'4" and tables are one of them. Banging my knees and slamming my feet into shit, IM OVER IT! I went and purchased this beautiful African Sapele Mahogany to make a desk tailored to my tall frame, and it was difficult. Anyone that has done woodworking can tell you making a quality piece is really hard, but it came out amazing! First prize at the Del Mar fair!
At some point during the process it gave birth to a mini table. not sure how that happened...
